This mistake was avoidable.
The tips to solve it didn’t completely work.
Kicking myself but at least I learned from it.
We have a septic system instead of city water and sewer. We use a compost bin and we don’t have a garbage disposal. Nothing goes down the toilet except what is supposed to and toilet paper. Food scraps, grease etc is not put down our sink drains.
I don’t enjoy cooking. I tried to use the leftover Mexican flavored meat added to new meat for spaghetti. I put it in the little red strainer to wash off as much of the taco mix seasoning. I did have a bowl under the strainer and threw that water/seasoning/grease mix outside. I did wipe out the red stainer but WAY more grease obviously stayed in those holes than I would’ve thought! The first camera club meeting of 2019 features the theme “delicate” with my favorite critiquer, Jeff Miller. I’m looking forward to this one.
I purchased some new backgrounds for my product photography clients, to give us some new choices. I have fabric and I like it, so I clicked a sale link for fabric ones, but once I got to the site, I choose patterned backdrops and ended up with vinyl.
The amount of time, listening, actual hands-on testing and palpation of my shoulder, movement evaluation, the physical therapy instructions demonstrated and just the overall time that we were shown us today by Dr. Suzanne Hall and the PA Maureen were outstanding. To sum it up they spent more time with me today explaining, examining, going over my MRI and surgery, than all the time pre and post I received from the surgeon who actually did my surgery.
The instructions of the post care was night and day also. One gave me absurd post -op instructions, the likes of which I never heard for anyone else, and had an assistant hand me a piece of paper and the bands – that was it. Maureen went over each one. Dr. Hall went over my MRI images with me. The surgeon who did my surgery did not. Seems like most of my issues came from following the surgeon’s absurd post care instructions, losing the sling too early, using my arm too much, too early, and doing resistance PT WAY too soon all as instructed. I wish he’d just said “hey, I’m the surgeon and I don’t give out post care instructions.” It’s okay to not know. It’s not okay to dispense horrible instructions.
Despite the fact that the post care instructions and PT were completely different than what Dr. Hall would do, she did not put down or say anything negative about the doctor that did my surgery. It was hard to miss the shock that briefly passed across on Maureen’s face when she heard those instructions and when she heard that it was 2 months after my stitches came out before I had another appointment. I’m guessing they don’t span that long in follow up care and they came right out and said their post care instructions were not the same at all.
I went back to Pearson Falls again but tried not to photograph the same things so I picked small areas and spots I hadn’t paid attention to before. Continue reading
I could say that I really wanted to test out our new stuff in our new house for a while before posting my review, but the truth is, life just got in the way and time just kept passing me by. But then, our Samsung fridge froze up for like the 5th time and I decided to take the time to write about it to hopefully save some of you the same expense and issues. Continue reading
Back on March 2nd when Trinity’s death shocked us to the core I knew I wanted a metal silhouette like we had for Skeaemer- Kind of like a custom headstone. I wanted to post this earlier but my head and migraine have taken a trip down memory lane and my head has been horrible for the last few weeks. I just couldn’t completely get rid of my migraine and it wave over me from horrible, to bad, to let me try to get something done, then repeat.
Now that is quite the statement I know, but I’ve tried lots and lots of products and tools.
Every once in a while you come across a product that you love enough to tell others about it and if you have curly hair… this is a game changer! I really hate being on the other side of the camera but I am so shocked that my thin, fine, frizzy hair could do this I’ll share anyway since Tyler is blocking part of my chins 🙂
