In the past Trinity has always really cared and watched over her brother. This time she didn’t seem to miss him while he was at the vets and she doesn’t seem all that sisterly now that he’s home. Guess it’s payback for how he treats her. She has also become a real pain with my mouse cord!
Tyler looks dopey from the oral Buprenex and he’s shaking his head and licking his lips quite a bit.
He wasn’t head shaking or anything before, there was no change in eating etc to give me a clue he had FLORs. Typically, nothing to do with FLORs or the extraction, lip licking is followed by both Tyler and Trinity with vomiting, but I imagine his mouth just hurts. I’ve been more successful getting the pain meds in him than the oral Azithromycin antibiotic. He’ll be fed soft food only for at least 3 days. I’m hoping he just sleeps and heals. Continue reading →
Despite the fact that hubby shot a nail 16 penny ring shank galvanized nail from a nail gun through his finger this week, as in an entry and exit hole, without going to the doctor. His back and feet are in almost constant pain, from broken ribs and vertebra that would put most people on a disabled list top it off with way too much arthritis.
The fact that I have not been able to smell anything for about 3 years, my left ear has been ringing for over 2 years, the left side of my jaw is catching and popping, a tooth that has had a root canal and cap hurts even though it shouldn’t have pain and my right arm hurts.
I made Tyler & Trinity an appointment for this week, mostly because it’s just been awhile. Plus unlike us, they have a doctor. Mostly for a full CBC and possible urine pH test, because they’ll be 10 in a few months. I’ll let you know how it goes. Continue reading →
Tyler & Trinity don’t like sounds, and they don’t like change. I actually don’t know any other cats that are as scared of sounds as they have been their entire lives.
I planned the move to the new house as best I could. We moved most everything the day before and only had our bed and the litter boxes to move that morning. After that was done, we went back to get the furbabies. From the moment we left our old house the worrisome cries began. I thought it’d be best to start in the laundry room where their litter boxes would be so they had a smaller area to get used to before increasing it to the main house, with plans later to open individual room doors.
My plan was a bust.
Hubby thought it was because the laundry had tile floors like the veterinarian’s office. They both dove into the bed together and continued to fear for their life.
Our internet has been off more than it’s been on lately so this is going to be short so maybe it will make it online while we have a connection.
Last week we celebrated Trinity and Tyler’s 9 year adoption anniversary. I am looking forward to finishing our new home so we can all just stay inside rest and cuddle for a bit. I’ve missed my two as we’ve been working extremely long days. They are both doing well. Praise the Lord we’ve not seen a seizure out of Trinity in over a year and I finally made myself put away the netcams watching her. I haven’t quite been able to do that with all the pillows yet under everywhere “up” she lays. Tyler is the most addictive personality I’ve ever seen. He starts something and does it without fail for months until a new thing comes along. I’m really wondering how they’ll handle the move.
I’ve been so busy on the house that I’ve not taken new clients for covers or product photography. Heck I can’t find the time to keep up with daily things right now. I am aiming for the July – my more realistic husband thinks it will be August. I’m still trying to sell 1000 sq feet of items but just this week I was measuring for a floor outlet and geez our stuff is going to be crowded and since I designed it, I can’t blame anyone but myself. It was easier to accumulate stuff than to downsize.
Well that’s it for now. Just wanted to touch base (while we have internet) and share our two anniversaries with you all. ~
My two could really care less that we’re getting all this snow in Western NC. Guess as long as we still have power and it’s 70 inside why would they. Well I take that back Trinity is not happy about all the birds I’m feeding.
