Freezing a bit of summer. I was going to save it until winter but we needed the freezer space. If you want to try this. Cut a flower. Put it in water with a lid so it doesn’t float out of the water or spill water in your freezer before it freezes. I read to use distilled water. I just used tap water and a plastic container. When I was ready to shoot, I took it out of the freezer and set it on the counter until I could get the block of ice out. I cheated a bit and put it on a hot rice pack to speed that up. I love the way the air bubbles made all the lines and it refracts the colors.
